Welcome to my blog! I'm Mel Bartholomew, the founder and inventor of the Square Foot Gardening method, which I think is the easiest, most efficient way of gardening.

I also created the Square Foot Gardening Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit in order to spread the message of SFG through humanitarian projects around the world. Our goal is to end world hunger with SFG.
